In September, you can watch the premieres of both Season 4 of The Kardashians and the original series The Other Black Girl. Even though this year’s autumn schedule looks different, Fox will air brand new episodes the day after they air, including those of The Masked Singer and Krapopolis. In terms of films, Meet the Parents (and its sequels) will be available for streaming in September. And since they’ll be leaving at the end of the month, you should watch a few of Die Hard films before they go.
In September of 2023, Hulu will add a plethora of new shows. Have a look at this top ten list!
10. They Took Our Child: We Got Her Back: Complete Season 1

For parents, nothing is more terrifying than worrying about their child’s safety after hearing that they have been taken. This documentary series shows that not all abduction stories have tragic conclusions. Each episode follows a different child kidnapped by an unknown person but manages to escape and return home. The children, their families, and the detectives who looked for them share their stories, supported by recreations as close to the originals as possible.
9. Lego Masters: Season 4 Premiere
Director: | Rich Kim |
Genre: | Reality show |
Cast: | Contestants |
Released Date: | 28 September |
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings: | 67% |
The first episode of Lego Masters (stylized as LEGO Masters) aired on Fox in the United States on February 5, 2020. The show is modeled after a similar British program. Two-person teams meet a specific obstacle in each episode by constructing a Lego creation out of various bricks and parts.
8. RuPaul’s Drag Race: Complete Season 10
Director: | Nick Murray |
Genre: | Reality Show |
Cast: | Contestants |
Released Date: | 29 September |
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings: | 79% |
VH1 premiered the tenth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race on March 22, 2018. Episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked will follow the third season completion of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, aired a week before the launch. On February 22, 2018, the contestants were revealed in a teaser trailer shown during an episode of All Stars 3, followed by a “Meet the Queens” Facebook live-stream hosted by Sasha Velour, the winner of Season 9. Eureka O’Hara, a contestant from Season 9, returned this season after being eliminated from the competition in the previous season due to an ACL injury.

The first African-American to sign a contract with the NBA, Nat Clifton, will be the subject of a 2023 American biographical sports film, Sweetwater. The Harlem Globetrotters, led by owner and head coach Abe Saperstein, are known for their star player Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton. New York Knicks CEO Ned Irish and coach Joe Lapchick, with the blessing of NBA president Maurice Podoloff, take the initiative to integrate the team. They quickly ally with the league’s other proprietors, setting the stage for a first in sports history.
6. iHeartRadio Music Festival: Livestream (Only on Hulu)
Director: | Ryan Seacrest |
Genre: | Music Festival |
Cast: | Foo Fighters, Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson |
Released Date: | 23 September |
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings: | 78% |
Live coverage of this yearly festival is being broadcast on Hulu, so there’s no need to travel to Las Vegas to be a part of the audience. Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, TLC, Lenny Kravitz, Sheryl Crow, Fall Out Boy, Kane Brown, and rap artist Lil Wayne are just a few of the A-list performers scheduled to perform in 2023. The host is Ryan Seacrest. Hulu broadcast over 20 hours of concerts daily across two channels during Lollapalooza in August. We’re ready to get our ears soothed once again!
5. No One Will Save You
Director: | Brian Duffield |
Genre: | Psychological Thriller |
Cast: | Kaitlyn Dever, Ginger Cressman |
Released Date: | 22 September |
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings: | 84% |
This new original picture uses the tried-and-true plot device of “things that go bump in the night.” Kaitlyn Dever (above), who was fantastic in Hulu’s Dopesick and Netflix’s Unbelievable, plays Brynn Adams. Brian Duffield (2020’s imaginative Love and Monsters) wrote and directed. She is socially isolated and has a vivid imagination, yet she rarely leaves the home where she grew up.
4. Love in Fairhope: Complete Season 1
Director: | Reese Witherspoon |
Genre: | Romance |
Cast: | Contestants |
Released Date: | 27 September |
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings: | – |
There is a profusion of reality shows about people looking for love. The unique aspect of this story is that it spans five generations of women in the state of Alabama. “When I came up with this idea of a romantic drama featuring real people,” says executive producer Lauren Weber, “I wanted it to take place in a very small, beautiful, quaint town where everybody had good values and knew each other.” She elaborates on the age gap: “Love is very different depending on your age.” It develops and changes over several distinct stages.
3. The Other Black Girl
Director: | Mariama Diallo |
Genre: | Comedy-drama, mystery, thriller |
Cast: | Sinclair Daniel, Ashleigh Murray |
Released Date: | 13 September |
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings: | – |
New York City editorial assistant Nella (Sinclair Daniel) is overjoyed to find herself in the company of another Black lady. However, Nella begins to doubt the newcomer’s intentions after the confident and cheerful Hazel (Ashleigh Murray, Riverdale) begins scoring points with the higher-ups (played by Bellamy Young of Scandal and Eric McCormack of Will & Grace). Like Single White Female, this 10-part psychological thriller follows a stranger-wants-my-life plot.
2. Theater Camp, 2023
Director: | Molly Gordon |
Genre: | Comedy |
Cast: | Noah Galvin, Molly Gordon, Ben Platt |
Released Date: | 14 September |
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings: | – |
Almost everyone enjoys a good schlocky comedy. Wet Hot American Summer (2001) and Meatballs (1979) by Bill Murray, who plays a crazed scamp, epitomize the genre’s signature spirit of recklessness. Molly Gordon and Ben Platt play Rebecca-Diane and Amos, two drama teachers at the Adirondacks theatre camp in Upstate New York who struggle in this mockumentary set in 2023. The finale will be the granddaddy of them all.
1. The D’Amelio Show: Season 3 (Hulu Original)
