In September, you can watch the premieres of both Season 4 of The Kardashians and the original series The Other Black Girl. The first African-American to sign a contract with the NBA, Nat Clifton, will be the subject of a 2023 American biographical sports film, Sweetwater. The Harlem Globetrotters, led by owner and head coach Abe Saperstein, are known for their star player Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton. New York Knicks CEO Ned Irish and coach Joe Lapchick, with the blessing of NBA president Maurice Podoloff, take the initiative to integrate the team. They quickly ally with the league’s other proprietors, setting the stage for a first in sports history.
