Kane Brown is an American-based music singer. He first came to the attention through social media. In June 2015, Kane released his first EP, titled Closer, and followed it with a single, “Used to Love You Sober.” Further, in early 2016 he signed with RCA Nashville, and on 2nd December 2016, he released his first full-length album, the Kane Brown (self-titled).
In October 2017, Kane became the first artist to have the concurrent 1st number on all 5 main Billboard country charts. His second album, Experiment, was released in November 2018 and became his first number-one album on the Billboard 200.
Kane Brown Performed At Charity Concert
Kane Brown will be performing on 28th October, Friday at Fifth Third Arena. It is a charity concert that will benefit the McLendon Minority Leadership Initiative.
This initiative is an NCAA coach-driven national workforce development program that generates opportunities and employment experiences in education and corporate America for candidates of the minority.
Kane is a 5x American Music Award winner and has recently received the CMT Artist of the Year award (2022).
Since the 2018 renovations, it’s the first-ever concert to be held here.

Kane Brown Early Life:
Kane Allen Brown was born on 21st October 1993 and raised in rural northwest Georgia and Chattanooga city, Tennessee. Kane is multiracial, and his mother is white, whereas his father is an African-American father and is also part of Cherokee.
Until Kane was around 8, he was unaware he was biracial and always thought he was fully white; further, everyone started calling him N-word, and when Kane learned what it meant, he started affecting him. Kane started getting into fights, and since 1996, his father has been incarcerated, and his mother has raised him single.
During his childhood, the family was sometimes homeless and moved around northwest Georgia from Rossville to Fort Oglethorpe to LaFayette, and finally settled in Red Bank, Tennessee. Further, after Kane graduated, he lived with his grandmother.
Kane grew up listening to country music, and in middle school, he became interested in R&B music. However, later, when he was in 11th grade, Kane won a school talent show by performing “Gettin’ You Home” by Chris Young; he then began to perform country music. Kane auditioned for both The X Factor and American Idol.; after he saw the success of American Idol of his school friend Lauren Alaina. In 2013, Kane was chosen for The X Factor after an audition but left the show when its producers asked him to get included in a boy band. After this, Kane decided to post his cover versions of popular songs online.

In 2014, Kane began posting videos of his covers of songs on social media. These songs were generally by Brantley Gilbert, Alan Jackson, Billy Currington, etc. Further, on Facebook, he acquired a following for his homemade videos. One early video that gained wide attention was his cover of “I Don’t Dance” (of Lee Brice’s). On 30th September 2015, Kane released his cover of George Strait’s “Check Yes or No,” which went viral and received above 7 million views. His number of followers on Facebook rapidly reached around 1 million, leading to a teaser clip for his single “Used to Love You Sober,” hitting 1 million views in less than 3 hours upon its release on 8th October 2015. The single then reached above 11 million views in 2 weeks.
Kane was initially signed to Zone 4 with Jay Frank as his first manager; later, Martha Earls became his manager.
In 2014, Kane raised funds via the crowdfunding site Kickstarter to produce a six-song EP. This EP was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, by him at the home studio of Noah Henson, along with guitarist for Brantley Gilbert. On 2nd June 2015, the EP, titled Closer, was released and debuted on the Top Country Albums chart at 22nd number and also sold 3,200 copies in its debut week. On 21st October 2015, Kane released a new single, “Used to Love You Sober,” and the song was a highlight on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1. The single release also pushed Kane’s EP closer up the chart to 22nd number on the Top Album Sales chart. In the Summer of 2016, Kane opened for Florida Georgia Line on their Dig Your Roots Tour. Also, he collaborated with Chandler Stephens on a song, which was written together, “Can’t Stop Love” the song was released on 12th February 2016.
On 27th January 2016, Kane signed up with Sony Music Nashville and started recording under the RCA Nashville label. On 18th March 2016, his first EP, Chapter 1, was released under the label. It includes the singles “Last Minute Late Night” and “Used to Love You Sober.” The EP debuted at 9th number on the U.S. Billboard 200 and 3rd number on the Top Country Albums chart; 30,000 units were sold in its first week.
On 17th June 2016, a promotional single, “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now,” was released ahead of his debut full-length album. On 3rd August 2016, the album’s debut radio single, “Thunder in the Rain,” was released. Later on 3rd November 2016, Kane headlined his Ain’t No Stopping Us Now Tour. On 2nd December 2016, the self-titled album featuring those songs was released and debuted at 10th number on the U.S. Billboard 200. Further, the single “What Ifs,” recorded with his friend Lauren Alaina, was released from the album. This single is certified 5× Platinum by the RIAA and became a number-one hit on the Billboard Country Airplay charts for the week of the end of October. On 6th October 2017, an expanded deluxe edition of Kane’s debut album was released featuring 4 new tracks, which included a duet with Chris Young. On 13th November 2017, “Heaven” was released as the album’s third single. In the deluxe edition, the album went to 5th number on the Billboard 200 and returned to 1st number on the Top Country Albums chart. The single “What Ifs” reached 1st on multiple charts, and the new single “Heaven” was released with the deluxe edition. In September, Kane announced a drive-in concert held at around 200 theaters across the U.S.
In October, “Worship You” was sent to country radio marking his second official single.
On 26th November 2020, Kane performed in the Thanksgiving Thursday Night Football game at AT&T Stadium; it was a pre-recorded halftime show.
On 11th February 2021, Kane launched his label titled 1021 Entertainment in association with Sony Nashville.
In addition, in 2021, he became the first-ever black person to win Video of the Year for “Worldwide Beautiful at the ACM Awards. He was also included in 2021’s Time 100, which is Time’s yearly list of the 100 most influential people worldwide.
On 3rd March 2022, Kane released the song “Leave You Alone,” which was initially previewed on social media in late 2021.
On 18th July 2022, he announced his third studio album, Different Man, which was released on 9th September 2022.
