What’s new on Hulu in August 2022 !

Hulu is capping out the season with a bang. As a result, the streaming service revives some of its best-known shows (Reservation Dogs, anyone?). Reservation Dogs, the second season, will premiere on the 3rd of August on the service, kicking off the month of August. Even if Season 1 of Taika Waititi’s comedy was not nominated for an Emmy this year, it is still worth your time. Mike, Hulu’s Mike Tyson miniseries, will premiere on Aug. 25 and promises “an unauthorized and no holds barred look at the life of Mike Tyson,” according to the streaming service. Heavily armed boxer Trevante Rhodes plays Steven Rogers’ character in the eight-episode series.

The Patient, a thriller that premieres Aug. 30, is Hulu’s final show of the month. Psychiatrist Steve Carell stars in the FX series, which follows a patient who imprisons his therapist. If that wasn’t scary enough, Gleeson’s character is a serial killer in The Patient. This sounds like an exhilarating experience that you shouldn’t miss!

So, in August 2022, we’ve produced a list of the best shows and movies to watch, so have fun! They’re all included in your Hulu Originals subscription, as per usual.

7. Password: Series Premiere

Genre:Game Show
Released Date:4 August 2022
Director:Ira Skutch
Cast:Allen Ludden, Keke Palmer
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:

Bob Stewart devised the game show Password for Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions, which airs in the United States. Allen Ludden, best known for hosting the G.E. College Bowl, served as the show’s host. This game pits two bands against one another to see who can use only single-word clues to communicate the mystery words. The winning team wins cash prizes.

There were two competing teams, each with a celebrity player and a “civilian” contestant. One member of each band was given the “password,” which was then displayed onscreen and uttered softly over the audio recording. The two teams switched their roles in the game. The password was supplied to one member of each team, who then gave their teammate a one-word clue from which to try and deduce the password.

The play was handed to the partner’s side, who could not guess the password within the five-second time restriction or if an illegal clue was given (two or more words, a hyphenated word, “coined” words, or any part or form of the password). The password was thrown out if the clue-giver revealed it.
