Bray did not always have the best of circumstances. The Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins, the controversial Hell in a Cell encounter in 2019, is an example. The match’s climax, which saw Seth Rollins hit a motionless Fiend with a sledgehammer and is disqualified by the referee, was resented by every spectator. Bitterly, the disqualification was despite the fact that ‘The Fiend’ had just attacked his opponent with a larger hammer moments before.
And, even though “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt won the WWE Hell in a Cell main event on Sunday via referee stoppage, Seth Rollins still keeps the honor of being the universal champion of the match.
Bray Watt Return:
In July 2021, WWE dismissed Wyatt, who hadn’t competed since WrestleMania 37. And it was an amazing moment when Wyatt finally returned to the organization at WWE Extreme Rules 2022.
Apparently, many fans were hoping to see him in AEW, and some were hoping to see him in IMPACT Wrestling. But the fans are now puzzled as to why Wyatt would rejoin WWE after they had fired him. Bray Wyatt chose WWE over AEW for his comeback, obviously due to a bigger paycheck. Another reason is the creative freedom that Triple H offers to the wrestlers.
On asked how he felt about his WWE return after his release in 2021 in a recent interview on FOX Sports, he replied he wanted to explore more as an athlete. Moreover, people had encouraged him to return to WWE, giving him the strength to build back and explode.
When asked about his alter ego, ‘The Fiend,’ he said, ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt is no longer there and is dead.
