The Japanese Manga series is filled with thrill, dark fantasy, and science fiction. The anime series was written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu before being published by Shueisha. The Promised Neverland premiered in January 2019, and the first season had 12 episodes. The season was a big hit and resulted in the series being renewed for a second season.
Renewal Status of The Promised Neverland Season 3:
Season 3 has yet to be confirmed by CloverWorks. Anime fans are crossing their fingers for a second season of the show. Season 3 has very little possibility of happening in the future.
‘The Promised Neverland’ expected a better ending. Nevertheless, it would seem that the animated series is no longer redeemable, because season 3 of ‘The Promised Neverland’ emerges incredibly unlikely. A spinoff or reboot, instead of a third season, are more highly probable.
The Promised Neverland storyline:
The series explores life at Grace Field House. A group of orphaned children lives here together with their mama, who truly cares for them. Together, they are a big happy family. Life in the orphanage is one to adore, and it involves rigorous tests, plays outside, and have great fun together. There is, however, only one rule that they should never break. To never leave the orphanage. It’s not until one day that two smart kids, Emma and Norman, venture outside the gate and unearths the dark truth of their entire existence. The kids involve all the other children, and they work on a plan that changes their predetermined fate.
The Promised Neverland Season 2 Release Date:
Season 1 was quite a hit, and we have all been anxious for Season 2. Initially, season 2 was set to be released in October 2020. However, as we all know, Covid-19 has caused delays, thus having the season postponed. Netflix will make an official announcement, that the show has been rescheduled to January 8, 2021.
But it originally released on April 11, 2021.
The promised Neverland Season 2 Cast:
The first season was loaded with some great cast, and we can only look forward to meeting them for the second season. Therefore, we should expect the three main casts: Sumire Morohoshi playing Emma, Maaya Uchida (Rising of the Shield Hero) playing Norman, and Ray playing Mariya Ise. Other actors in the show will include Shinei Ueki playing Don, Lynn playing Gilda, Hiyori Kono playing Phil, Yuko Kaido playing Isabella, and Yuuko Mori playing Lannion.
The Promised Neverland Season 2 Plot:
The series has been set in the future, precisely 2045. In season 1, we already found out that the children living in the orphanage have found out that the place is not as perfect, it seems. The realization came after they found the body of one of the kids at the gate. Apparently, children in the orphanage are supposed to be the demons’ food living in the outside world.
In season 2, we expect a lot more to be revealed. Will Norman and Emma manage to convince the other children to escape? Will Mom Isabella find out? There is no doubt season 2 will be full of mystery as these questions get to be answered. And what do you think The Promised Neverland season 3 will unfold?
