Illegal racing car thefts, fast-paced driving, and getting in a lot of trouble, does that ring a bell? You might be suitable if you thought of fast furious as they both have the same plot.; however, the new series has much more than just fast racing and getting in a lot of trouble. Pedal to Metal “Dale Gas” is a collaboration between Netflix and Alejandro (Dark Desire), Fernandez, and Edgar Nito, the new series you need as we wait for the two seasons of Fast & Furious. When illegal racing goes wrong, Kike has to ditch town, but there is more in store for him than he could ever imagine.
Pedal to Metal Season 2 Release Date: When will it air?
As of the end of 2023, there is still no confirmation about whether the series will be back for a second season considering it premiered just a few days ago on Netflix and did not release its entirety as the pilot episode. The other eight premiered on 16th March 2022 while the season finale premiered two days later on 18th May 2022. Many factors have to be considered, and one of them is viewers’ interaction and rating. Since the series is yet to be rated, this is also a dead end. In case the series gets much love like their counterparts Fast & Furious, then early, or mid-2023 seems like the perfect time to get a season 2

Pedal to Metal Season 2 Plot: What should we expect?
The show’s first season ended quite heroically when kike entered the underworld of Mexico city’s racing scene. Regardless of how much he and Noche tried to stay away from the spotlight, we saw their past soon catching up. Kike found himself in a tough spot when he had to choose between building his life or regaining the glory his family was slowly losing.
As if this is not enough, Kike had to ally with the local gang as it could at least assure him of making something good for himself. But since family comes fast, Just like Fast & furious taught us, he decides to build his family’s empire again. We could expect the second season to explore Kike’s steps to building his family empire, the relationship between the two brothers, and the car racing world.
