Aaron Judge Home Run Record

Aaron Judge is closing in on the all-time home run record.

Judge, who plays for the New York Yankees, has hit 60 home runs this season. That puts him just two shy of the record 62 home runs hit by Babe Ruth in 1927.

While Judge has been putting up big numbers, he has also had to deal with some injuries. He missed part of the 2018 season due to a wrist injury, and he missed part of this season due to a strained oblique muscle.

Despite those injuries, Judge has still been one of baseball’s most productive hitters. He is batting  272 with 60 home runs and 102 RBIs this season.

If Judge can stay healthy, he has a good chance at breaking Ruth’s home run record. And if he does, he will go down as one of baseball’s all-time greats.
