Aaron James Judge (born April 26, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Judge was unanimously selected as the American League (AL) Rookie of the Year in 2017 after setting MLB rookie records for home runs (52), walks (127), and strikeouts (208). He has also broken numerous Yankees franchise records, some of which had stood for over three decades.

Aaron Judge began his professional career in 2013 with the Charleston RiverDogs, the Yankees’ Class A affiliate. In 2014, he was promoted to the Tampa Yankees, the Yankees’ Class A-Advanced affiliate. He began the 2015 season with the Trenton Thunder, the Yankees’ Double-A affiliate. The judge was then promoted to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate.
