Man on Fire is an upcoming Netflix series based on a novel of the same name by A.J. Quinnell. The series tells the story of John, the ex-mercenary who must avenge his friend’s death while keeping his daughter safe from meeting the same fate. Kyle Killen from Lone Star will develop, write, and executively produce the series alongside Peter Chernin, Bill McGoldrick, and Juan Alfonso.

There is no specific release date for the Man on Fire series, and we have yet to determine how soon the series trailer will be available. The series scripts are still being written, and it will not be long before the final script is out. Since the series is an adaptation, it may take time to prepare the script for the screen.
The upcoming show will comprise eight episodes, and currently, we are unsure if the episodes will release simultaneously or weekly. The most accurate approximation is that the series will be available for streaming by 2025.

The upcoming Netflix version will have a modern twist while intricately portraying the warrior as he fights for those he cherishes.

As of April 2023, Netflix and the series creators are yet to give casting updates. Kyle Killen will develop the series and executively produce it alongside Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Michael Schaefer. Denzel Washington played John, the series protagonist Jon in 2004, and Scott Glen played the same role in the 1997 Italian feature.
There is a slim chance that the two will return to play John’s role in the new series. We are positive that they will announce the series casting before the production starts, and we expect to see some of your favorite artists.

The series trailer is yet to be released and will not come out soon. As of April 2023, the series is still in its preproduction stage, and filming is yet to start. We are unsure if the series creators have already written the Man on Fire scripts and how soon the final script will be ready. If the series filming starts soon, expect the series trailer to be available before the year ends or an early next year.
