The actor is developing and executively producing the upcoming show, and Netflix has confirmed that despite her being an amazing actress, she will not be starring in the upcoming show. The series plot is based on the two sisters, Maria Del Carmen and Gloria. The twin sisters are separated at birth, and each gets raised differently, one swimming in luxury and all the pretty things while the other is in a convent. Unfortunately, Gloria dies in a car accident, and Maria Assumes her identity. She soon uncovers that the picture-perfect act the family put is far from the truth.

The series will pay homage to the famous tele novel tropes, but it will add a modern twist to make it relatable to the current audience. The podcast’s second season will follow Rau and Estrella’s journey out to find where Gabby, Estrella’s high school sweetheart, went.

Unfortunately, no cast members have been announced, and we have yet to determine how soon the series casting will be available. Since the show is still in its preproduction stage, likely, the series creators are still looking for the best characters for the first season.
