We were Tomorrow is yet another promising addition to the science fiction archives. Still, unlike most of its shelf mates, it focuses on the human element of salvation and second chances. Sometimes, it even deals with second chances to create a puzzle for audiences who love to see what kind of people they would become in an apocalypse.

We were Tomorrow Season 2 Plot: What should fans expect from this upcoming series?
In We Were Tomorrow, One day in the future, a celestial object collides with the earth’s moon, and the result is that half of the earth ends up covered in eternal darkness and the other half in eternal sunlight. Seven alchemists who possess immortality attempt to save humans by relocating the survivors to a version of earth in a parallel dimension where they plan to help them repopulate and restore humankind to its former glory.
To make this possible, the alchemists give the relocated survivors three lifetimes, which they deem sufficient to guarantee the thriving of humankind in their new home. Unfortunately, this attempt at repopulation falls flat as humankind returns to its renowned conflict and strife through wars across several centuries. The alchemists attempt to rectify the situation by choosing a new crop to endow with the gift of a second chance, which they send back in time to the old earth a year before the celestial object strikes. Among those chosen are two siblings who come across one of the original relocated survivors who intend to hunt them down.
Now if we were to have a new season, it would continue from where it left off and answer all the questions of the previous series.

We Were Tomorrow Season 1 premiered on November 30, 2020. The show’s Season 2 is the most awaited upcoming series of 2023; not only has the release date been announced, but it has also not been confirmed. However, audiences will receive a treat should they be patient because the series is guaranteed to be a hit.
The number of episodes, their run time and the official streaming channel, will also be confirmed in due time.

The IMDb has confirmed a large cast that includes Madeleine Kennedy, Chai Hansen, Johnny Brady, Alicia Banit, Gyton Grantley and Hayden Walker in the major roles of Evelyn Reeves, Noah Reeves Warrick Blane, Siena Woodlands, Cain Foster and Mauro Lopez, respectively. All of the major cast members have been confirmed for at least six episodes.

The story revolves around a group of individuals who find themselves transported to a parallel world following a collision between a meteor and the moon, resulting in the cessation of Earth’s rotation. With the Earth’s destruction looming, they are granted three lifetimes to seek salvation. However, their pursuit is hindered by an immortal being who desires to return to Earth. Here is what happened in Season2.
Episode 1: In Eden, a group of individuals is transported to an alternate world where they are given three lifetimes for salvation. However, upon discovering the fate of those left behind, the group becomes divided.
Episode 2: The Breach reveals a revelation to Evelyn and Noah. They realize that they can travel between worlds through a portal called the Breach. Their newfound ability attracts the attention of Cain, an immortal who desires to utilize the Breach to return to Earth.
Episode 3: While Cain captures and interrogates Evelyn and Noah, Warrick and Siena embark on a mission to rescue them with the assistance of some allies.
Episode 4: The Rebellion emerges within the dissatisfied population of the alternative world, as they rebel against the rules and restrictions imposed by the Alchemists, who are the leaders. Evelyn and Noah join the rebels, while Cain infiltrates the Alchemists’ headquarters.
