Fang Yi Jen, played by Joseph Chang, is a mysterious forensic investigator who finds a link between ruthless murders and 20 years of long-lost daughter Moon Lee as Chiang Hsiao-Meng. He has Asperger’s syndrome but doesn’t let it come between the investigations. Once he proves the innocence of his daughter, the examiner steps down and starts working as a professor of forensics.
Since the last season showed the characters, but no specific locations, it left the audience in awe as to where the societal issues elaborated in the series where headed. The next season is expected to show more of those issues and their center of attention. The directors have confirmed the renewal of the season, so the story is yet to attain a big plot.
