Going back to something is always never an easy decision. After a break-up abroad, Justin decides to return home to his devastating past. When Justin left, he had a daughter who was sixteen years old at the time of his return.
The openly gay man had given up his daughter for adoption years ago. The daughter he got with his best friend who was not ready to raise her. The movie shows how one man’s actions trigger the already healed scars of the people around him.

The show has earned an impressive rating of 6.8/10 on IMDb, showing just how anxious the screen lovers are waiting for the show to premiere. Fans won’t wait for long, however, as the show is slated for release on June 17, 2022. Season 1 garnered a 7.3/10 on IMDb, and 70% of Google users liked the show. The first episode premiered on August 10, 2009, and received a warm reception. The much-awaited season 2 is releasing on 9th june, 2023.

The Lake Season 2 Plot: What will happen?
Justin returns home after a fatal break-up with his long-term partner abroad. Justin, openly gay, plans to connect with his teenage daughter he gave up for adoption long ago. Justin has plans to make new memories with his daughter at the family cottage, but to his disappointment, Justin finds out that his parents have left the cottage to his picture-perfect step-sister, Maisey-May. Justin is so obsessed with the cottage that he won’t let it just go like that.
After doing some research, Justin finds out that the only way he can inherit the cottage is if Maisy dies. He comes up with another plan and hits Maisey with the fact that the cottage is not up to code; however, Maisey had already anticipated Justin’s move about the home and knew about the weak spots and renovations. She invites Riley, knowing that a cute guy will distract Justin from the upgrades. The organized game night moves into coupling up. What follows is a tussle between the two as one struggles to keep the house while the other struggles to gain ownership of the cottage.

Lead cast Jordan Gavaris is portrayed as Justin, a gay man returning home to reconnect with family. Julie Stiles is portrayed as Maisy May, Justin’s perfect step-sister, and Madison Shamoun as Billie, Justin’s city-loving teenage daughter whom he had given up for adoption.
