If you are, there are many horror series that are expected to debut in 2022, ranging from Del Touro’s Cabinet of Curiosities to Hatching and added to the list is HBO’s ‘The Baby”. Created by San Robins and Lucy Gaymer, the series tells the tale of a 38-year-old woman, Natasha, whose possession of a baby comes as a surprise to many, considering it was sudden. What may have started as a cute mistake quickly becomes a massive catastrophe.
The Baby Season 2 Release Date: When will it be out?
The showrunners have yet to communicate when we will get a second season officially, and most likely, we have to wait for the first season to drop, rate its performance, then gauge the likelihood of its renewal. The eight-part series will debut on HBO on the 24th of April, and you should not miss out on the perfectly told horror story.
The release date for The Baby’s second season is yet unknown. There will probably be an announcement soon. In case of renewal, the second season may be out by 2023.
The Baby Season 2 Cast: Who will be in?
Michelle De Swart has featured in many series, including the Duchess, Free Speech, Comedy Lab, and Get me out Of Here. She plays Natasha, a 38-year-old woman forced to take care of a baby that will soon see her end. Michelle is cast alongside Amira Ghazala, playing Mrs. Eaves, the 70-year-old whose appearance is oddly influenced by being near Natasha’s “baby.”
Other casts include Amber Grappy as Bobbi, Natasha’s little sister Patrice Naiamabana as Lyle, Sinead Cusack as Barbara, Shvorne Marks, Tanya Reynolds, and Seyan Sarani. The series gets renewed, and we should expect most of the cast to reprise their roles and new faces in the second installment.
The Baby Season 2 Plot: What will happen next?
Like any other 38-year-old woman without a baby, Natasha is only used to looking out for herself and doing whatever she wants whenever she wants it because why not? All her friends have babies, and this seems to infuriate Natasha as they are never free for her as they used to but what Natasha does not know is that she is also soon becoming a mom.
When a baby finds her way to Natasha, the occurrences are somewhat weird, but looking at how cute his eyes light up whenever he smiles, Natasha is convinced to take care of the baby. Soon enough, she realizes that the baby is a small conniving little devil that will cost her her friends, relationships, and sanity. Despite her attempts to get rid of it, Natasha has to come to terms with the realization that the baby is a curse that will take effort to get rid of.
The Baby Season 2 Trailer: Is there any trailer out?
We recently received the first season’s trailer, and rest assured it will be ages until we get a trailer of the second season. It’s also not sure as it will depend on how good the series will perform, its rating and the positive reviews from the critics. Since the series’ future is one we cannot predict, you should stay on the lookout for the first series, which is expected to debut on 24th April 2022.
