On Sunday, 25th September 2022, Rihanna posted on her Instagram that she was all set to perform at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. The football league championship is scheduled on 12th February 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, U.S.

Rihanna shared a picture of a hand holding a National Football League (NFL) football. Below her post, in the comments section, many celebrities, including Priyanka Chopra, Katy Perry, Lindsay Lohan, and Maren Morris, commented excitedly.

The NFL’s head of music welcomed Rihanna to the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show stage and, praising her successful career, added that it is a historic Halftime Show performance.

For the Bowl Halftime Show, beginning in 2023, Fox will handle the 2023 broadcast, and Apple Music will become the show’s sponsor.

In 2019, the Umbrella singer declined to perform in the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Recent performers of the American football championship have been The Weeknd, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga.
