Fox has added a new show to its comic domain. The CEO of Fox Entertainment confirmed the original comedy show Call Me Kat and 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star. 

Call me Kat TV series is an adaptation of Miranda Hart’s BBC comedy sitcom “Miranda.” It is penned down by Darlene Hunt, an executive producer of the show alongside Hart, Bialik, and Jim Parsons.

Call Me Kat Plot: What will happen in it?

Call Me Kat follows Kat, a 39-year-old single and unmarried woman who struggles daily with society and her mother, to prove that you don’t have to have everything in life to be happy. She does not adopt the philosophy of an ordinary human.

Her mother has always taunted her with things she does not have and has disappointed her that she will always be alone in her life. Still, she wants to live happily, even by staying with her mother, family, and friends.

Eventually, Kat thought to open a cat café in Louisville, Kentucky, using the money saved by her parents for Kat’s wedding. She believes that this may make her feel less isolated and change the mindset of society.

Call Me Kat Release Date: When will it Air?

Last year, we heard about Fox’s new show “Carla” production. In February 2020, the entertainment giant confirmed the show’s name altered from its working title Carla to ‘Call Me Kat.’ The TV series is planned to telecast in the mid-season 2020-2021. On May 11, 2020, it was confirmed that Fox had ordered the production team to make the series pilot.

For those who love the comedy genre, their wait is over now. Because “Call Me Kat” is about to be released on January 3, 2021.

Call Me Kat Cast: Who will be in it?

Although the makers didn’t officially reveal the cast, as per sources, ‘The Big Bang Theory’ star Mayim Bialik will feature on “Call me Kat” with her former co-actor Jim Parsons. The remaining cast might appear in the show: Leslie Jordan as Phil, Kyla Pratt as Randi, Cheyenne Jackson as Max, Julian Gant as Carter, and Swoosie Kurtz as Sheila.
