Dark Matter Season 1 Release Date: When will it premiere?
A release date for the upcoming series is yet to be released, and we are yet to determine how soon the series will be available. Apple Tv+ announced that the upcoming show would consist of nine episodes, and all of the episodes would be exclusively available on Apple Tv. We are not sure whether the series will release all at once or the pilot episode will be available then all the others will be released weekly. Since the series announcement came in early 2022, there is a high chance that the show will premiere either mid or late this year.

The upcoming show is based on a self-aware physicist in Chicago. He is both a husband and father and seems pretty normal to everybody around him. Soon enough, he gets kidnapped and dragged to a strange place that seems familiar. He is warped into another version of his life and has to protect himself and his loved ones from his other versions of existence. The novel that the series is getting adapted to was more of Jason finding himself and did not focus more on other aspects. Apple Tv, however, has revealed that the upcoming show will lean more on the road not taken.
Dark Matter Season 1 Cast: Who will appear?
Joel Edgerton (Boy Swallows Universe) will be playing Jason Dessen, the lead character. He is the physicist who gets abducted by a drag in the wood and has to figure out his past and determine the future he wants for himself and his family. The actors have been featured in several series, including Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Zero Dark Thirty, It Comes at Night, The Green Knight, and many others. He will be playing alongside Jennifer Connelly (Alita Battle Angel) as Daniela, Jason’s Wife. Connelly is mostly known for featuring in TV series like Snowpiercer, Labyrinth, Requiem for a Dream, and A Beautiful Mind. Other actors include Oakes Fegley as Charlie, Dayo Okeniyi as Leighton, Alice Brag (We Are Who We Are) as Amanda, Jimmi Simpson (The Man Who Fell to Earth) as Ryan, and Amanda Brugel (Parish) as Blair.
