The improved play of Daniel Jones and Geno Smith would impact Sam and Baker. However, the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks will be obvious threats, as they will try to retain their starters. If that circumstance happens, Baker and Sam will join Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Brissett, Gardner Minshew, and Andy Dalton on the 2023 market.
