The live-action series is based on the Horizon of the Dawn video game and will follow the same plot. The plot is set in the United States. The posts apocalyptic period in the 31st century. Humans live scattered, and each area varies in technology. The old ones are termed used to refer to their technologically advanced predecessor, and large robotics fill the earth. Some coexist peacefully with humans despite the humans haunting them for their robotic parts.
Aloy, a girl who has grown up without parents and lives isolated from all the tribes, takes an interest in the Derangement phenomenon and begins a journey to investigate what happened. Her journey upsets the robots, which signifies the beginning of hatred between humans and robotics.
Horizon Zero Dawn Season 1 Cast: Who will come?
Netflix Is yet to give us the casting of the Horizon Dawn show, and we do not know when the casting will be made. Directors have yet to be attached to their project, but we hope the announcements will come soon enough. The video games are, however, voiced by some of the most talented actors in the voice industry.
Ashly Burch (Mythic Quest) voices Aloy, Lance Reddick as John Macmillan, and John Hopkins. Reddick has also been featured in other series, including Resident Evil so that he may be included in the upcoming series cast. Fans on the internet, however, prefer Sadie Sink as the perfect candidate to play Aloy.
They have also mentioned that Hannah Hoekstra would make an ideal casting for alloy, but it is unlikely that Netflix would consider her for that role. Choosing her would make the live-action and the video game too similar, which is out of the question.

Netflix is yet to give the precise date on when we should expect Horizon Zero Dawn to be released. Filming is yet to start, and even the show’s casting is yet to be made, and it could take a long time before we finally see the series. You can, however, watch the trailer for the first game released in 2017. It shows Nora facing some of the deadliest creatures and defeating them using his agility skills.
