Sky recently gave the order for the series, A town Called Malice, driven by the 80s culture. Nick Love, the series creator, is over the moon as he describes that working with Sky is like a dream come true as they have given him the platform to actualize the dream he has been breathing and living for the past few years. Influenced by the 80s and Jam’s famous song, which topped British charts for three weeks straight in the 80s, the thriller series tells the story of the famous petty thieves whose ranks have gone down in the mud. When Gene and his girlfriend move to Spain to avoid an arrest, they think they are safe only to realize they are a magnet for mischief. The other members move to Spain all in an attempt to reawaken their glory, much to the lover’s disapproval.

The eight-episode series is expected to be released in 2023, as announced by Sky, the official series Website. Despite the show being confirmed to air on Sky Max n 2023, they have yet to set a specific date when the series will premiere. Gene Lord, the criminal Lord, has retired, but then he feels as if their family has forgotten how deadly he can be. After surviving one of the deadliest attacks, the Gangland battle, Gene and his Girlfriend Cindy have to flee to Costa del Sol to seek refuge from the police. Running away from Justice stirs the other meme lords as they see this as an act worthy of being praised; therefore, all of them move to join the two to bring back their glory days. Unknown to them, the two lovers are not impressed as the Lords joining them only means one thing; they have ruined the lover’s plans.

When asked about how he feels about the cast that will play in a series he created, Nick love said that he has a fantastic cast and is ecstatic to work with some of the actors he looked up to while growing up. He also added that he could not wait to see how the series would turn out, and we could not agree more. The series features Jason Tahirah Sharif as Candy, Gene’s girlfriend, Flemyng Jac Rowan as Gene Lord, Martha Plimpton (Generation), Dougray Scott (Batwoman), Lex Shrapnel, George Jaques, and Eliza Butterworth (The Last Kingdom).
