What’s new on Netflix in August 2022 !

Netflix has a slew of new releases this month to coincide with the approach of summer. A new season of Never Have I Ever and the Jamie Foxx-starring original film Day Shift are among the notable additions to Netflix’s library in August. The Sandman, an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s acclaimed comic book series of the same name, also debuts in August. In addition, Netflix is delivering a wide variety of programming in August, including drama, comedy, fantasy, and much more. There will be new episodes of Neil Gaiman’s series, new episodes of a well-known teen comedy, and new episodes of a hot NSFW movie series available on the streaming service this month.

The Sandman will premiere on Netflix on August 5th. Dream/Morpheus is brought to life by Tom Sturridge, who stars in the fantasy series. Netflix will release the penultimate season of Never Have I Ever on August 12th, after the release of The Sandman. It’s back to school for Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her classmates in Mindy Kaling’s teen comedy with more drama and laughs from the emotional rollercoaster of high school.

For your viewing pleasure in August 2022, we’ve produced a list of the best TV shows and movies. You get them all as part of your Netflix Originals subscription, as per normal.

Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:88%

The incredible, never-before-revealed true story of the Templet family is told in an extraordinary documentary series, and I Just Killed My Dad. That’s what Anthony Templet has always said: that he killed his father. On the other hand, why he did it is a difficult topic with far-reaching consequences. 8. Reclaim

Released Date:6 August 2022
Director:Alan White
Cast:Hee Ching Paw, Hsi-Shun Kou, Chia-An Yu
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:

When caring for one’s family, a mother or wife is continuously swarmed with menial activities such as picking up the mail, cleaning and even arranging plane tickets. Reclaim is the story of a girl who can handle these obligations on her own, but in the long run, they wear her out. Her elderly mother needs to move in, which her husband despises, even though his father already lives in the house. The wife has to find a house big enough for everyone, and she’s having difficulty keeping things running smoothly.

7. Never Have I Ever Season 3

Genre:coming-of-age comedy
Released Date:12 August 2022
Director:Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher
Cast:Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:94%

Fans of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever will have to wait a little longer for season three of the show, which Netflix has announced. When Mindy Kaling advertised in March 2022 that the show would return in the summer, she also communicated that it had been renewed for a fourth season. Fans of Never Have I Ever are eagerly awaiting the return of Devi, Ben, and Paxton (a.k.a. Bevaxton) for the upcoming season. As much drama as their love triangle generated, it appears that Ben’s reaction to Paxton and Devi at the winter dance will only add to it. Netflix has ordered a second season of NHIE since there are still many more stories to tell.

6. Darlings

Released Date:5 August 2022
Director:Jasmeet K. Reen
Cast:Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:

Alia Bhatt’s first film as an executive producer has been released on Netflix under the name Darlings. Red Chillies Entertainment, the production company set up by Indian celebrity Shah Rukh Khan, is acknowledged as a co-producer on Darlings. One-and-a-half minutes of the teaser are devoted to a menacing voiceover delivered by Alia Bhatt’s character.

Frog and scorpion are her metaphors for human nature, which she uses to illustrate the film’s fundamental theme: that people will revert to their actual nature even if it means acting against their better judgment. That is, how terrible people would damage others even if it means harming themselves.

5. Riverdale: Season 6

Genre:Drama, Mystery
Released Date:7 August 2022
Cast:Gabo Correa, Tara Dafoe, James DeWille
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:80%

Depending on where you reside, Riverdale season 6 will be available on Netflix at different times in different countries. For those outside the United States, Netflix has released new episodes on Mondays for the past few weeks. The United States will experience waiting a little longer. The CW’s long-running series is the one everyone loves to despise for its absurdity. One of the network’s best-performing shows, Archie, has also performed well on Netflix.

4. Loving Adults

Released Date:26 August 2022
Director:Barbara Topsøe-Rothenborg
Cast:Dar Salim, Mikael Birkkjaer
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:

Loving Adults is a suspenseful thriller in which nothing is as it appears. Leonora and Christian (Sonja Richter) seem to have it all. They are enjoying the best of times with their son, who was recently proclaimed healthy after a long-term, severe illness. Leonora witnesses her husband, Christian, with a younger lady, the architect Xenia, at a party at Christian’s entrepreneur company (Sus Wilkins). That Christian might walk away from her is dawning on Leonora. How did he do it? Leaving the woman who has given up her profession is a no-brainer for him. The mother who has given up everything to look after their son and her family? That’s who.

3. Instant Dream Home

Released Date:10 August 2022
Director:Tom Forman
Cast:Danielle Brooks
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:

Instant Dream Home follows a team of professionals, and host Danielle Brooks transforms a worthy homeowner’s house into their ideal dream home. 2. Selling The OC

Released Date:24 August 2022
Director:Josh Schwartz
Cast:Peter Gallagher, Kelly Rowan, Ben McKenzie
Rotten Tomatoes Ratings:

Selling Orange County will be a primacy for Jason Oppenheim as he extends the Oppenheim Group’s Newport Beach location. In the same way, as Selling Sunset followed the business and personal life of Oppenheim and the company’s agents, this new show is expected to chronicle suburban happiness in Orange County, Los Angeles, being sold by Oppenheim and the company’s agents Alexandra Hall, Austin Victoria, and Brandi Marshall have already been confirmed to join the show’s ensemble as new agents.

As far as Selling Sunset cast members go, Chrishell Stause, dating Jason Oppenheim for seven months, has been rumored to make a cameo. No word yet on whether or not her Selling Sunset co-star Heather Rae El Moussa will join the cast of Selling the OC, but talk is rife that she will.

1. The Sandman

Genre:Supernatural Drama
