What’s new on Amazon Prime in July 2022 !

Prime video has always surprised us with a new bunch of movies and series. This July’s top list has action, thriller, romance, and so on. The month starts with the series “The Terminal List.” It’s an action series based on an officer in Navy SEALs’. Many movies are scheduled to premiere on 1st July. 

You can see Richard Grieco in “Attack of the Unknown,” The story is based on the SWAT team and the Aliens attacking Los Angeles City. Movies like Changeland and The Rest of Us show the life journey of different characters with hard truths and how they find happiness in little things. On the 2nd of July, a biopic crime movie is on the way, “House of Gucci,” directed by Ridley Scott (Raised by Wolves). In mid-month, a comedy movie “1UP”, starring Paris Berelc and Taylor Zakhar Perez, is releasing. The story revolves around a girl fighting back to make her own identity in a male society.  

Another father-daughter relationship movie, “Don’t Make Me Go,” is on the way. The reality series “Forever Summer: Hamptons” will also be an added entertainment to mid-July, where people from different backgrounds spend their summer in the show. The fans were waiting to watch the “Paper Girls” Series as its trailer was out, and the wait is over. This Sci-fi adventure series is set to release this month’s end. The Terminal List is an action thriller TV series starring Chris Pratt as James Reece, the main character. This series is based on the novel by Jack Carr of the same name and is written by David DiGilio. This season will consist of 8 episodes of one-hour duration.  

The storyline is about James, a senior officer in Navy SEALs’. In the series, he investigates why his entire platoon of navy SEALs’ was entrapped during an undercover mission. While this investigation, James explores many dark forces working against him. During this course, he is not only endangering his life but also his dear ones.

This movie was originally released in 2020, and on Prime is releasing on 1st July 2022. Brandon Slagle is the director. The movie is about the SWAT team, whose head is Vernon. This team is transporting a dangerous criminal and ends up in the Los Angeles detention center with no communication facility with the outside world.

Meanwhile, an alien spaceship has crashed on the outskirts of the San Fernando Valley. These are blood-sucking aliens, and panic spreads all around. Many people die. The Aliens are not getting affected by guns and weapons. How this team comes out and saves the city can be watched on 1st July.

Changeland is a comedy-drama movie that stars Brandon (Seth Green) and Dan (Breckin Meyer). Brandon, on his anniversary evening, gets to know about a long-time affair with his wife. Instead of questioning her, he flew with his childhood friend Dan to Thailand for three days trip.

This Thailand trip was prepaid as he wanted to gift his wife. Once they reached their destination, the pair traveled the beautiful caves and epic places. Brandon also shared that he won’t divorce but was confused about how to save his marriage. During this trip, Brandon encounters many characters, making him realize that for being happy and living a meaningful life, there is no rule book.

They once received a call about his ex-husband’s death from a heart attack. Later she finds that her current wife and daughter have become bankrupt, leaving this family penniless. Cami invites the daughter and her mother to live with them out of sympathy. Many old memories come to her mind splashing when she sees his ex-husband’s wife. How they all go together in their lives, leaving behind all the hush feelings, can be seen in this movie.

When Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) marries Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) and starts her new life in the Gucci family, she must sacrifice her ambitions. The couple’s romance covers into fights over the Italian fashion brand Gucci. The situation triggers revenge, murder, and betrayal.  

This film’s world premiere in London at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on 9th November 2021. Whereas theatrically, it was released in the United States by United Artists Releasing on 24th November 2021. On Prime Video, it is scheduled to release on 2nd July 2022. This movie cast was nominated for many awards.

The film’s main cast is Paris Berelc (Hubie Halloween) as Vivian, a national-level e-sports player. As a championship winner, Vivian was awarded a scholarship which landed her at Barrett University. This university has a male-dominating team whose Caption is Taylor Zakhar Perez (The Kissing Booth) as Dustin. Dustin tells Vivian that she won’t be a starting player; at that time, she joins hands with her best friend, Sloane. They take the coaching from her professor Parker and form an all-girl team to take down the male team. This girl team must now prepare for a national-level championship and win for their existence. But the journey is not so easy with all the struggles.

Don’t Make Me Go is a story of 15 years old Wally, who has been raised by her single father, Max. Max is deducted with cancer and has only one year left to live. He has no siblings or family to whom he can hand over Wally’s responsibilities after his death. He remembers only one person, that is Wally’s mother, Nicole. Nicole left Wally when she was an infant. Now Max and Wally travel the road from California to Florida, unaware of her father’s real purpose for this trip. Wally thinks they will attend her father’s college reunion in New Ories. Will wally accept the truth and go to her mother? Will her mother accept her after so many years? The answers ley in the later movie.

Forever Summer: Hamptons is a reality series. This series will have a total of eight episodes and will be available on Prime in 240-plus countries. The destination featured in the reality show is the famous Long Island. The series is about a college group of New York City vacationers their summer with the local group in the Hamptons. These people are completely from different backgrounds. The New York group is from wealthy families. The groups will work at a restaurant near the seaside during the daytime and party together all night.

This movie is directed by Billy Porter, making his debut director. The screenplay is done by Ximena García Lecuona. The movie is about a 17-year-old confident girl Kelsa. She is a trans and has just finished school. Now she is promoted to the senior class. Kelsa was asked for a date by Khal (he is cisgender) with all his courage in an art class.

They were painting each other’s portraits in this class. Although both knew their relationship truth, they became inseparable after that date. Based on Brian K. Vaughan‘s comic book, it is an eight-episode series. The Paper Girls comic book series won the Eisner Awards (the Oscars of comics) in 2016. The strategy was for the best new series and best penciler/inker. This series will be premiering on 29th July 2022 only on Prime Video. 

In Series four, paper delivery girls who are 12 years old are accidentally stuck into a running war between time traveler’s batches. Interestingly they meet again in 2019 as a grown-up girl. They see many truths in 2019 about their future. Thus they have to overcome the difference and work as a team, so they go back to 1988.
