John Strickland, Line of Duty’s Director, has another series coming up soon on Amazon called The Rig, a tale that follows the lives of the Kinloch Bravo Oil Rig crews. The station is hazardous; the abandoned Scottish seas are strategically near the Northern Sea’s dangerous waters. Waking up on the island is a blessing not to be taken for granted, and the crew keeps counting the days when they set on a journey back home, meeting the families they have longed to see alive. However, the morning, when they set to go back home, is when the nightmare begins. Suddenly, there is a mysterious fog, and the team is cut off from any connection they have of the natural world, leaving them to fend for themselves. This is where some of them wished they had died before the day arrived.
