The show is an adaptation of the same name, and it follows the life of Juliette Ferrars, a 17-year-old girl. Juliette gets locked up for a crime she committed, well, unintentionally. She has a peculiar gift that she cannot put a finger around. Meanwhile, the world is no better; diseases are destroying the population, there is not enough food to feed families, birds don’t chirp in the morning anymore, and the sky’s color is turning scarier.
