Blizzard sealed its lips when it came to the release date. Jeff Kaplan, the game director, said that the game was not complete, and they don’t have an exact date in the mind. He exclaimed that Blizzard is not concerned about that, and they want to make a great game without worrying about anything else. However, Somewhere, someone got a little bit over-excited! PlayStation Brazil, on the 6th of January, 2020 tweeted that the game will be released in 2020 itself. Yup, the tweet was deleted in a jiffy, but it certainly created a storm of excitement in the fans. And as we are coming closer to the end of 2020, fans around the world are all aflutter. Blizzard did not confirm the legitimacy of the tweet, so we can only hope.
Overwatch 2: What is new?
There is a long list of cool stuff that we are gonna see in Overwatch 2. Like always, Blizzard is coy about the game’s details, but slowly it is painting the picture. Overwatch 2 is gonna be a big thing primarily focused on PvE missions for which we cannot wait any longer.
Overwatch 2 PvE missions:
PvE missions are divided into two categories. The first one is Story missions in which the heroes will team up to fight against the robotic army. It will side by side, reveal the suspense and questions like the purpose of the attack. An add-on in the game will be the quick pickups like shield and grenades, which anyone can pick. On the other hand, we will Hero missions. The main aim of this mode is the modification of heroes and leveling up their abilities. New powers with a new time!
Overwatch 2 PvP Mode:
First of all, the maps are mind-blowing, and we need to admire the people who created such a mesmerizing piece of art. We saw five new maps in the video: Toronto, Monte Carlo, Rio De Janeiro, and Gothenberg. The last one, which looked like Q ship from The Avengers, is still a mystery to us. Jeff Kaplan stated that every mode would have new maps with Overwatch 2, so there is a lot that we have not seen. A gift from Blizzard to Overwatch fans is that PvP of Overwatch 1 will receive all the updates of PvP of Overwatch 2. This will result in players teaming up with each other from both the games, Simply amazing!
What do you guys think? Will there be an update in the graphics of Overwatch 1 PvP?
Overwatch 2 New Push Mode:
It is precisely what it sounds like. It is kinda like the reverse of the Tug of war. Instead of pulling, they are going to push a barrier into the other team’s territory. The team which can get more inside other’s territory will win. Again, it will be available to Overwatch 1 also.
