Netflix announced that season 2 is coming for the 10-episode drama, Outer Banks, on July 24, just three months after the April 15 release date of season one. This series is produced by Josh Pate, Shannon Burke, and Jonas Pate. Netflix confirmed production for a new season on September 4. The show’s official Instagram page also confirms the renewal for the next season. The show holds an approval rating of 71% based on 21 reviewers, on Rotten Tomatoes, and an average rating of 6.72/10. Reviewers categorize Outer Banks as an over-the-top drama that is balanced out by an intense adventure for viewers.

When will the second season be aired? Filming of the series was in the works. However, that won’t be possible anymore because of the general global pandemic. Therefore, we definitely have to wait a while longer for the production to begin finally. Josh Pate, the creator of the series, has informed the fans to be patient until the end of 2021.

Outer Banks Season 2 Plot :
The bulk of the story focuses on teen friends, called Pogues, who reside in the Outer Banks of Carolina. These teenagers are determined to solve the mystery of John B’s missing father. The Outer Banks of Carolina is where you can either have one of two jobs or two houses. In the first season one, the drama readily begins, the youths get involved in drug deals, destruction of property, breaking, arsons, robbery, and many more and in the midst of it all different love triangles.
