“One Day at a Time” is a humorous and heartwarming comedy that is a recreation of Norman Lear’s 1975-1984 sitcom that was originally produced 45 years ago.
The first three seasons premiered on Netflix before being revived by POP earlier this year, and now the series is airing its fourth season on CBS. The critically acclaimed show depicts the life of a Cuban American family who lives under one roof.
The EGOT (an Oscar, a Tony, two Emmys, and a Grammy) winner Rita Moreno features on One Day at a time, not penurious by any introduction. She is appearing as the head of Alvarez’s family, Penelope’s mother, and god-fearing grandmother to her two teens Elena and Alex. The legendary actress is well known for her roles in musical movies such as Anita in West Side; she admitted in the interview that she almost refused her Oscar-winning role in West Side Story because of Racism.
In an interview with Ryan Mayer, Rita Moreno discussed what the audience could expect and also about season 4. She said that we’re bringing back-to-back episodes of season 4, as well she explained that the first episode is so delightful that make you laugh and your cheeks get hurt. It is about the census, Ray Romano as a census taker, whose survey spread memories. She said that Norman Lear developed a universal show that is a family-friendly show, is all about a woman-led Justina Machado, who runs the family and brings up her two teens.
