What was his conflict with Eminem over a tweet in 2018?
Eminem’s brand new album Kamikaze involved the song Not Alike, which criticizes Machine Gun Kelly for commenting on Eminem’s daughter Hailie. He responded, “But next time, you don’t make use of Tech N9ne if you want to arrive at me with a machine gun.
“And I’m speaking to you, but you already know who the f**k you are, Kelly.
“I don’t use sublime and sure as f**k don’t creep-diss, but keep remarking on my daughter Hailie.”
Eminem and MGK’s conflicts started in 2012 when Machine Kelly tweeted Eminem’s then (16-year-old) daughter, commenting she was “hot as f**k.”
After Eminem openly criticized the rapper in one of his Kamikaze tracks, Machine Gun Kelly quickly released his response in a Rap Devil melody.
The lyrics stated as: “Took you six years and an astonishing album just to come with a Tough talk from a rapper millions. I think my dad’s away crazy’ yeah, Hailie, you right / Dad’s always mad, enclosed up in the studio screaming at the mech”.
However, recently, MGK was a visitor at the famous US radio show The Breakfast Show and clarified that he apologized to Eminem for his remarks that started the feud behind the scenes.
He explained: “Look, I didn’t know how old she was. I commented, I didn’t feel like it was disrespectful, but I’m a father. I have a nine-year-old.
“I get it. Man to man? I apologized. Can I take the tweet down? Sure. But public apology? Come on, man.”
