Electric zoo festival

Electric Zoo is an annual electronic music festival held over Labor Day weekend in New York City on Randall’s Island. The festival represents all genres of electronic music, bringing top international DJs and live acts from multiple countries to four stages.

In its 2009 inaugural year, 26,000 people attended to see artists Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5, David Guett and Ferry Corsten. In 2011, Electric Zoo expanded to a 3-day festival and with 85,000 attendees. Electric Zoo received International Dance Music Awards nominations in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 for “Best Music Event”.

Rock the bells

Place: San Bernardino, California

Rock the Bells is an annual hip-hop festival that originally took place in Southern California only, but has since toured throughout the world. The concert features a line-up of high-profile alternative hip-hop artists, often headlined by a more mainstream artist. The first festival was held in 2004, featuring a re-united Wu-Tang Clan, who performed four months before Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s death. Ultra Music Festival (UMF) is an annual outdoor electronic music festival that occurs in March in the city of Miami, Florida, United States. The festival, which was founded in 1999 by Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes, is named after the 1997 Depeche Mode album,Ultra. Ultra Music Festival coincides with the annual Winter Music Conference, which is also held in Miami.

Ultra is held in Downtown Miami in Bayfront Park. It was a one-day festival from 1999 to 2006, a two-day festival from 2007 to 2010, and was a three-day festival in 2011 and 2012. In 2012, a record 155,000 people attended the festival.In 2013, for the first time in festival history, UMF took place across two consecutive weekends. In 2014, the festival returned to a one-weekend format, taking place on Friday, March 28 through Sunday March 30. Presale Tickets went on sale online May 21, 2013 selling out in a matter of seconds; standard priced tickets sold out on the last day before the event.

Mountain jam

Mountain Jam was originally conceived to celebrate the 25th anniversary of WDST/Radio Woodstock. With over 3,300 people and 4 bands, reviews and critiques of the event were overwhelmingly positive. The founders, including Warren Haynes, Gary Chetkof, and other members of Radio Woodstock, began to look forward and decided to make the event annual. Over time, more bands, artists, and amenities have been added to Mountain Jam’s lineup, including a diverse lineup of small artists, and larger bands includingMichael Franti and Spearhead, Widespread Panic, The Black Keys, The Allman Brothers Band, and more. Gov’t Mule, whom Warren Haynes is a founder of, has performed at every Mountain Jam thus far.

Currently, Mountain Jam has three stages to allow for continuous music throughout the day: the East Stage, the largest of the three, overlooks the main terrain park of the resort. Because of the quantity of performances on a given day, the wiring and electronics are set up so that the time spent transitioning from one performance to the next is as minimal as possible.^{[citation needed]} Next to the East Stage is the West Stage, positioned closer to the chair lift, and is meant for smaller performers or musicians. Inside the Base Lodge is the third stage, meant for late night acts and for musicians who require indoor amenities.

The Peach Music Festival

Place: Scranton, Pennsylvania

The Peach Music Festival was billed as the first ever Allman Brothers inspired music festival in northeastern Pennsylvania, and attracts thousands of people each year. Festival-goers are encouraged to shop at the many food and craft vendors on the grounds of the festival and are offered free access to the Montage Mountain Ski Resort, which is transformed into a large water park in the summer months, giving them the opportunity to utilize the park’s many water rides and attractions while listening to the musicians performing. Camping and RV Parking is also offered on the grounds. The festival takes place in mid-August over the course of several days and has a variety of different musical performers, and special events each day.

Red Sky Music Festival

Place: Omaha, Nebraska

Red Sky Music Festival was a yearly music festival held at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2011 and 2012. The format for the festival included a headlining act closing each night with local and national acts performing on stages around the stadium during the day. The festival aimed to include many different genres of music. In its short history, Red Sky attracted headlining acts from classic rockers Journey and Def Leppard to country artists Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley to local favorite . The festival also served as a showcase for many local artists. MECA’s inspiration for the format of the festival was Milwaukee’s Summerfest.

On October 20, 2012, MECA announced that there would not be another Red Sky Music Festival. They cited difficulties including scheduling artists around summer tours and the blistering July heat. They said there would still be concerts at TD Ameritrade Park, just not in festival format, which would allow them more flexibility.

Max creek

Max Creek is an American rock band that was formed by Dave Reed, John Rider and Bob Gosselin in 1971. Max Creek has a loyal following, and put on an annual music festival at Indian Lookout Country Club in upstate New York, dubbed Camp Creek, and was one of the longest running festivals on the East Coast when it took a hiatus in 2008. Camp Creek was held in Maine in 2011, and returned to Indian Lookout Country Club in 2014.
