Netflix Originals is back with the fifth season of the Disenchantment series, which left the fans in suspense for its unrevealed climax in the last season.

Let us give you a quick summary of the Disenchantment series. This series is an American animated fantasy sitcom created by Matt Groening. This black comedy-drama is full of off-color humor, a clinch of medieval fantasy, and a pretty good storyline that engages the audience till the end.

It is produced by ULULU company and Rough Draft Studios. It first premiered on 17th august 2018 with its first season, which the audience admired and got an average rating of 6.3/10 on Rotten Tomatoes. Followed by its second season on 20th September 2019, the release date for the third instalment of Disenchantment was eventually set for January 15, 2021. Season 4 debuted on Netflix worldwide on February 9th, 2022. Season 5 debuted on September 1 2023.

The story’s cliff-hanger increases the audience’s curiosity, encouraging the sixth season to hit the screen again. But with confirmation from the makers and producers of the series, an official statement revealed not renewing for the sixth season.

Disenchantment season 6 Release Date:

As previously indicated, Netflix has not formally renewed the series, but given that part five is now complete, we can certainly anticipate some sort of news within the next few months.

The average time between each series of episodes is about a year, thus, part three will be released in January 2021, and part four will be available in early February 2022. The part fifth was on September 2023.

The ULULU company set their bags for the upcoming season as soon as possible due to the high demand of the fans who admired the last five seasons of this black comedy. Sadly the fifth was the final season.

The Vocal cast of Disenchantment season 6:

Disenchantment Season 3 Cast

As an animated series, it is all about the vocal cast scenario who give their voices to certain cartoon characters. Previous seasons came up with a fantastic vocal cast, and we expect the same from Disenchantment Season 5. Hence, the characters’ voices you will be more likely to hear in the fifth season are as follows:

  • Abbi Jacobson will be voicing Princess Bean.
  • Eric Andre will be voicing as Luci.
  • Nat Faxon will be voicing Elfo.
  • John DiMaggio will be voicing as King Zog.
  • Tress MacNeille will be voicing as Queen Oona.
  • Lucy Montogomery will be voicing as Bunty.
  • Better Things Actor- Billy West will be voicing Maurice Lamarche, Sorcery, and many other characters.

The expected Plot of Disenchantment season 6:

We expect the plot of season 5 from the same cliff-hangers it has been left off in the fourth season. The fans are more likely to reprise the exact track of season 4 in its upcoming one.

The fourth Disenchantment instalment left us with many more questions than answers, but each unsolved subplot has effectively set the stage for the fifth instalment.

In the fourth instalment, Bean defeats an evil dream image of herself, only to have her mother, Dagmar, throw her into the sea. We anticipate that this mystery will grow in part five, perhaps even revealing the name of the aforementioned saviour. So, in season 5, it will be more exciting to watch how she will prove her innocence or be found guilty, and then the reason for this horrible crime will more likely stand out in the whole narrative of the story.

What is the story of Disenchantment season 6 all about?

The whole story revolves around a rebellious princess named Bean, who is also alcohol addictive. She is with her elf Elfo and a personal demon called Luci. Bean is accused of her father’s murder in the last season and has been sentenced to death. To run over the death, Bean escaped into an underground cave where she met her mother, Queen Dagmar. We might see Bean’s efforts to prove her innocence and reunite her parents in the upcoming season. Apart from that, she will also save her father from the seekers’ (villains of the story) clutches.

Review of Disenchantment Season 5:

The show has the potential to showcase a filled storyline for people who like the genre of dark comedy; it’s a must-recommended show of 2023. With many references from Game of Thrones, it gave the G.O.T. a good honor but still lacked in making it more excitable than the previous seasons.
