The true master of Horror has been the brain behind some of the most notable movies like Pan’s Labyrinth, and now that he is back to the horror scene after quite a while, it is only suitable to assume that the upcoming series will be worth the comeback.

Unfortunately, we are yet to receive official information about when the series will premiere other than it will stream on Netflix. A lot of rumors have been going on, with many speculating that the series will be ripe for this year, but since it is yet to be confirmed, it may be far from the truth or not.
Deadline, however, reported that the series production had started way back in September 2021, filming taking place in Toronto, Canada. There is a likelihood that comes this year Halloween; will have a show to make the season special. 2022 might be the year for the series debut.

Many of the faces to premiere in the horror series have already been cast, and so far, we know many actors and actresses that will be gracing our screens once the show is out. Andrew Lincoln, who starred as Rick Grimes in Walking Dead, has been signed for an episode, the first two directed by Guillermo. Demetrius Grosse has also signed for an episode directed by the star from the same series. Ben Barnes from Shadow and Bone will also star in one of the episodes directed by Keith Tomas.

Macabre and Genre defining horrors used in the description are proof enough to make you believe that it will be one of the most fantastic shows you have not watched in a while. Del Toro will only write two of the episodes, and the rest will be a twist of the stories that are already existing. What is there not to look forward to?
