Warwick Davis will replay his role as Willow Ufgood; the magician Nelwyn dwarf has protected a child(Elora Danan) from an evil queen.

What does Warwick Davis say to reprise his role?

Recently, Davis has stated that many fans asked him if Willow would come back, he is very excited to tell them, yes it is. Many of them have told him that they have spent their childhood with Willow and influencing us all about what kind of heroes are in the world. If Willow can emulate the ability of heroism in all of us, he feels honored to reclaim the role of Willow.

What does John M. Chu say?

In the 80s, when he was growing up, Willow made a deep impact on him. The story of the bravest heroes allowed him to have an Asian American child growing up in a Chinese restaurant in search of going to Hollywood to acknowledge his determination and the power of inner magic.

He had a dream to work with fantasy heroes from Kathleen Kennedy to Ron Howard, which is being completed through this series. This is a huge moment for him. Jon Kasdan and Wendy Mericle added such new characters and fascinating wonders to this classic story that he can’t wait to join the world on this wonderful journey.

What does Kathleen Kennedy say?

Kathleen Kennedy stated that John Chu’s imagination, combined with the writings of Jon Kasdan and Wendy Mericle, would lead Willow into new and thrilling directions for the series. It was a pleasure to see Ron Howard and Warwick Davis in the willow world again. She felt proud to be a part of a remarkable team.

Here we talk about the storyline; the series is all about the original Willow film that appeared in 1988 and introduces all the new characters to the fascinated world of fairy queens and two-headed monsters. It is planned to start production next year in Wales, where mostly the original film was filmed.
