Netflix Superhero movies have been doing well for quite some time; look at the Umbrella Academy series or the Ozark show. The two have been doing impressively, which explains the renewals they have been getting. Adding to the Superhero shows is Supacell, an all-black cast series that will delve into the life of five men brought together by Supernatural powers.
Andrew Onwubolu, famously known as Rapman, will be writing the series, will act as the showrunner, and will produce the show alongside Sebastian Thiel. Here is everything we know about Supacell.
Supacell Season 1 Release Date: When will it air?
Unfortunately, The Supacell series has no precise release date, and you will have to wait a little longer for the sequel to premiere. So far, we do not know whether the Supacell filming has started, when it will be wrapping up and when the post-production will ensue.
The series casting came out in August, and the high chance is that the series creator is yet to start the series filming. However, we can’t argue that the show is not in active development, considering that scripts must be written before casting is made. If the series casting starts this year, expect Supacell to be out by next year.

Little is known about the upcoming series’ plot apart from the fact that it will be a black superhero show. The series will explore the lives of five people who live everyday lives, going to work, making mistakes, and keeping their loved ones close.
Unexpectedly, however, the five acquire supernatural powers out of the blues, which they find weird. The five do not share any connection, have never met each other have nothing in common except for their skin color.
