Any Controversy Of Ruby Da Cherry
The musicians Juicy J and DJ Paul have filed a $6.45 million USD copyright infringement lawsuit against the $uicideboy$ rap group.
According to court documents obtained by XXL, Juicy J and Paul are blaming Ruby Da Cherry (who produced many of Three 6 Mafia’s greatest hits) along with Scrim for stealing from 35 of their songs.
The lawyers claim that the defendants unlawfully took and used elements from tracks such as “Veil & Da Glock,” “Mafia N*ggaz (Yeah Hoe)” and “Cleared Out Located Out.”
Three 6 Mafia’s unique sound and hard-won success in the hip-hop industry attracted groups to “compromise” and use their style.
“The plaintiffs have earned a great many transfers on YouTube.com, Spotify, Soundcloud, and Apple music for which they have gotten eminences installments,” the suit peruses.
Juicy J and Paul have filed a lawsuit seeking $ 1.2 million in compensation for their “genuine” and financial harms, on top of the $5.25 million they are also seeking from the defendants as recompense for legal fees.
