They recently released the Dahmer series, and just some weeks after the show premiere, they renewed it for the second season. Fans, however, were unhappy with the series renewal claiming that it glorified serial killers. Another true crime docuseries, Killer Sally, has also landed on Netflix, and so far, it is making headlines. The story explores the life of two bodybuilders, Ray McNeil and Sally. Ryan Chokes Sally in 1995(Valentine). However, Sally does not let the choking slide. She grabs a gun and shoots his husband twice before he drops dead. Sally, however, argued that she shot her husband in self-defense, but the jury thought otherwise. Sally then narrates her life as a victim, how the media described her, and the ugliest names she endured. Others describe her as the Pumped princess, and some call her the brawny bride. The documentary also tells her side of her life cycle from violence to violence and the toll it has had on her. We do not know whether the documentary will get a renewal, but the second season plot will explore Sally’s story further if it does.

According to Decider, the Killer Sally series deserves a stream as it explores the deeper relationship that Sally had with her husband, not the bluff and the exaggerations that the media have spread through time.
