Netflix is remaking the movie into a three-hour-long limited series, and Lisa Barros and Glenn Leyburn will direct it. The upcoming show has been described as “an erotic thriller based on obsession and desire,” and we already know it will be a banger. Netflix is yet to announce when the Damages series will be released. Considering that the series filming started in March, there is a high possibility that the show might be released in 2022. The Damage series revolves around a love triangle, obsession, and Betrayal. The series explores the story of Ann, a married woman who decides to have an affair with his father in law. Anna has to find a way of balancing loving the two and keeping his husband in the dark about his affair with her father-in-law. But how did William get here? William is a successful man who has lacked nothing; riches, wealth, a successful career, and kids. However, his life is not as perfect as he wants it to be, a fact that pushes him into one of the worst mistakes of his life.
Damage Season 1 Cast: Who will be appearing?
Charlie Murphy, famous for playing Jesses Eden in the Peaky Blinders series, will be playing Anna Barton, the woman who gets engaged to his fiancée’s dad. William, the Fiancé’s dada, will be played by Richard Hermitage, featured in the Hannibal trilogy. The two will play the lead role in the show as the plot revolves around their love triangle. Other casts include Indira Varma (For life), renowned for playing Ellaria San in Game of Thrones, Rish Shah, and Pippa Bennett Warner. Shah featured in the Emmerdale series, and Bennet-Warner is famous for playing Shannon Duane in Gangs of London.

The Damage series trailer is yet to be released, and currently, we have no idea how long we will wait before we get the trailer. Its filming began in March this year, and since Netflix is yet to update us on the series’ progress, we are not sure when a teaser will be available, or filming will wrap up.
