Imagine traveling to the solar system has been made possible and you no longer have to watch it on TV but only wait to be filthy rich to have your turn. If you have always loved series that delve into space, then season one of the series was a force to reckon with. In case you did not have the luxury to binge into the mind-boggling series, then it is not too late yet. Created and produced by Armando Iannucci, HBO sci-fi follows the life of a captain and his crew on a luxurious spaceship to tour space. They must deal with grumpy passengers and obstacles to make their mission harder.
Avenue 5 Season 2 Release Date: When will it air?
So far, the release date of the Avenue series is yet to be communicated, but since filming has already started, fans have a reason to believe that they will soon binge on the space comedy one more time. There is information that this may be the show’s final season, but until the information is confirmed, these are just rumors.
Filming started in August 2021 and ended three months later; anytime from now, we should expect a premiere date. The production team is yet to update on the number of episodes the show will have, and fans must be a little more patient.
Avenue 5 Season 2 Plot: What will happen?
The first season explored the spaceship named Avenue 5, which was headed to earth. When the ship loses artificial gravity, the ship is thrown a few degrees off course and one of the ship’s chief engineer dies. Avenue 5, which was scheduled to get to earth in the shortest time possible, now has to get back to earth three years later, a piece of information not well received by the passengers.
Supplies are not enough for the passengers; they have to invent new ways of survival while using comedy as a weapon to pass the time. The second season will focus on the passenger’s attempt to survive and how far they will get away with it. It may also focus on new ways to get the ship back on earth earlier than the expected timeframe.
Avenue 5 Season 2 Cast: Who will be in?
The series features Hugh Laurie as Ray Clark, Josh God as Herman Judd, Zach Woods as Matt Spencer, Rebecca Front as Karen Kelly, Suzy Nakamura as Iris, Lenora Crichlow as Billie, and Ethan Phillips as Martin. The series renewed for the second season calls for all the season one casts to reprise their roles except the chief engineer who died. Considering the ship is still stuck in space, we may not see new faces, but anything should be expected at this point.
