Korean dramas are making a killing on Netflix and the newly released series adding to the collection is A Model Family. The series is less than a month old on Netflix, and so far, it has positive ratings and feedback from fans.
Directed by Kim Jin-Woo, the series takes the Ozark storytelling formula as it makes the main character the most desperate cast. The show’s first season was released on August 12th, 2022, and so far, it is unclear whether the first season will have a continuation. The showrunners of the show or the official channel are yet to announce when the show will premiere, and you will have to be a little patient. A Model Family Season 2 Plot: What should we expect?
The show focuses on Park Dong-Ha, a hard-working guy who does not have enough to sustain himself. Intending to get a promotion at work, He uses money supposed to take his son for surgery, but the promotion backfires. Desperate to get more money, he has to bury some bodies and forever live with the consequences of his actions.
The first season ended with the Yongsoo Ring destroyed and Kwang –Chul in control of the drug trafficking business in South Korea. Joo-Hyun also murdered his mentor after realizing she had been working as a mole for the Yongsoo Ring. Dong-Ha also received an anonymous call threatening to harm his family if he surrendered to the police.
The second season could focus on the rivalry between the drug worlds. It could also focus on the threats uttered to Dong-ha and his relationship with Eun-Ju. All the mysteries will be answered in the second season.
A Model Family Season 2 Trailer: When will it be aired?
So far, there is no trailer for the second season of the crime show. The first season trailer was recently released, and the second season trailer might be out by 2023 if the show qualifies for a renewal.
