If you loved watching the Death paradise series, the new Beyond Paradise would blow your mind equally. The new show is a spinoff of the former and follows the good Detective Humphrey Goodman as he solves cases and maintains justice and order. Kris had previously played Detective Humphrey in Death Paradise, but it was a surprise that he would star as the series protagonist in the new spinoff. Beyond Paradise Season 2 Release Date: When will it air?
As of March 2023, there is no release date for the show’s second season, and we have yet to determine just how soon the series will be available. The show’s first season premiered a while back on BBC, and renewal updates are yet to stream in. If the show gets renewed, expect it to premiere sometime in 2024.
Beyond Paradise Season 2 Plot: What will Happen?
The show follows Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman, who lives in Saint Marie to be with his fiancée Martha Lloyd. After they are solid in their relationship and engaged, the two move to the Shipton Abbot, Martha’s hometown near the Devon Coast. He then joins the Police force, where he works his way to the top, earning the impression of the Detectives, Dt. Sergeant William, PC Kelby Hartford, and Margo Martins. The second season plot is yet to be shared, but like most series, it will follow the first season finale.
Beyond Paradise Season 2 Cast: Who will be in?
Kris Marshall stars DI Humphrey Goodman, the series protagonist. Marshall is an established actor and has worked on several projects and won numerous accolades. He is known for playing Nick in My Family, Collin Frisell in Love Actually, and Gratiano in The Merchant of Venice. He has also starred in Citizen Khan and as DI Humphrey Goodman in the Death in Paradise series. He stars alongside Sally Bretton (The Office) as Martha Lloyd, Zahra Ahmadi as DS Esther Williams, Dylan Llewellyn as PC Kelby Hartford, Felicity Montagu as Margo Martins, Barbara Flynn as Anne Lloyd, and Jamie Bamber as Archie Hughes. We are yet or receive the second season lineup, but if the series gets renewed, most, if not all of the season one cast will return to reprise their roles. We may also get to see new faces in the upcoming show.
Season 1 Review:
It is less than a month since the series was released and it already has a 7.6/10 rating on IMDB. We recommend you stream the investigative thriller as it has a solid plot and exemplary performances from the cast, especially DI Humphrey.
Beyond Paradise Season 2 Trailer: When can we watch it?
A trailer for Beyond Paradise Season 2 is yet to be released; it will not be coming out soon. The show’s first season was released in February 2023, and we have not received any news of the series renewal. If the show gets renewed for a second season and filming starts early, we may get a trailer before the year ends. If it is renewed later, the earliest you should expect a trailer for the second season is in 2025. If you did not watch the show’s first season, you could do so on Amazon.
