Time Bandits Season 1 Release Date: When can we expect it?
Unfortunately, there is no official release for the upcoming series. We are unsure when the series will be released, but we are optimistic it will be sometime this year. Production started in New Zealand in late 2022 and is expected to wrap up in 2023. The series will consist of ten episodes, each telling the story of a rag-tag group of thieves. If filming and posts production wraps up early enough, the earliest you should expect to binge on the series is mid-2023 or just before the year ends.

The details of the series plot are vague at the moment. We, however, have a description of the coming series, which will revolve around a group of thieves who travel through time and space. The new group recruits Tuck, the 11-year-old who knows his way around history. The upcoming series could explore how Tuck will acclimate to the group and whether he is similar to them or will be like the group loner. It could also focus more on the group’s specialty, what kind of things they steal, and which group of people they steal from.

Taika Waititi will be writing and directing the upcoming series. He will also be cast as the series’ executive producer alongside Iain Morris and Jermaine Clement. Lisa Kudrow stars as Penelope, one of the members of the raga tag group of thieves. The American actress is a renowned screenwriter and producer and has starred ins several series. She is famously known for her role as Phoebe Buffay in Friend, the American sitcom. Kal-El-Tuck stars as Kevin, Charlyne Amanda Yi (Paper Heart) stars as Judy, Tadhg Murphy as Alto, Kiera Thompson as Saffron, Rachel House as Fianna, Kiera Thompson as Saffron, Rune Tempte as Bittelig and Roger Jean as Widgit. Jean has starred in several series, including Africa, United, Sixteen, and You Don’t Know Me.
