Santo Season 2 Plot: What will happen next?
The show’s first season takes place in the Madrid and Salvador area, and it revolves around two officers, Miguel Millan and Ernesto Cardona. The two are on duty and have been charged to chase around a famous drug lord famously known as Santo and put him behind bars. However, Santo’s face has never been revealed, and this puts the police officers in a tight spot; they do not know who they should be on the lookout for. Santo is over-involved with some of the most powerful people in society, and the two police officers have difficulty working through the case. We do not know the plot of the second season and the direction the show will take. It will, however, follow how ending of the show’s first season.
Season 1 Review:
According to Decider, Santo’s first episode is disjointed, and despite having a good premise, it is not worth your time. The show also has a 5/10 rating on IMDB, which screams pretty average.
Santo Season 2 Cast: Who will be returning?
The Santo series is created by Carlos Lopez, the award-winning filmmaker famous for writing TV shows like Raya and the Last Dragon, Summertime, Blind Spotting, Your Name, and many others. Raul Arevalo, famous for starring in Summer Rain, stars as Miguel Millan, the series protagonist who is also a shady police officer put in charge of putting a crime lord behind bars.
Bruno Gagliasso stars as Ernesto Cardona. Miguel’s colleague helps him hunt down Santo. Other actors include Victoria Guerra as Barbara Azevedo, Greta Fernandez as Susana Jackson, and Maria Vazquez as Arantxa Rivera. Vazquez has vast casting credits and has been featured in TV shows, including Year of the Tock, Maria Hospital Real, and LA Fuga, among others.

Unfortunately, a trailer for the second season of the Santo series is yet to be released, and we do not know how soon that might be. The show’s first season was released on the 16th of September, and as of January 2023, there is no information regarding the series renewal for the second season.
