Currently, we do not know the cast that will be attached to the Molly Murders series. After the series announcement in 2002, Netflix has yet to update us on who will be starring as Molly or her victims. The series might feature talents who have experience in crime or horror, or it might employ fresh talent; only time will tell. However, we know that Edgar Wright (Last Night in Soho) will be developing the series, and he will also double as the executive producer alongside Joe Cornish. He will develop the series under Complete Fiction, his newly set production company.

The horror series trailer is yet to be released, and without updates from Netflix, we do not know how soon we will see a glimpse of the upcoming show. The series announcement came in 2020, and it was reported that the show was still in its pre-production stage. Since Netflix is yet to give us an update on whether the horror series filming started or not, it is safe to assume that the series filming did not start.
