The hits do not stop there as coming to screen Kleo, a series based on the German reunification. Created by Haribos, Richard, Bob Konrad, and Hanno Hackfort, the series tells the story of Kleo, a spy who receives orders from the Stasi to kill a businessman but later turns her in, subjecting her to life behind bars. Two years after her arrest, Kleo gets released, which officially marks her hunt for the officials who turned her in.
Kleo Season 2 Release Date:
So far, the showrunners have yet to give a specific date when season two of the show is dropping, but the show started filming a year ago and it got a release year of 2024. The streaming service updated that filming was already in progress and that the thriller series was filming in Mallorca and Berlin. The show, which will premiere on Netflix in 2024, is expected to have eight episodes. If the production and post-production go as smoothly as planned, we should expect the series to debut before the year ends.

Kleo Season 2 Cast:
Jella Haase, famous for featuring in “Suck Me Shakespear,” will star as Kleo the Vigilante. The actress has received accolades and even got nominated in 2014 for the German Film Awards for Best Actress. The actress will be cast alongside Julius Feldmeier, Dimitrij Schaad as Sven, Vladimir Burlakov, Thandi Sebe as Jenny, Yuan Huang as Min Sun, Alessija Lause as Anne, Rodrigo Rojo as Jorge, Jurgen Heinrich, Markus Vonlingen, Toni Pons, and Simon Eckert.
Kleo Season 2 Plot:
Set in the 19th century, The series tells the story of a spy job that went opposite to how Kleo expected it. Days after Kleo executes a command to kill a businessman; she gets arrested by the Stasi bosses who hired her for the execution. She is sentenced to prison, but after only two years in, Kleo gets released only to find out that there is more waiting for her in the outside world. With the wall down, Kleo finds herself amidst all the intrigue, further fueling her desire for revenge. Despite the West Berline police being hot on her heels, she is beyond motivated to make her betrayers pay.

The series season two teaser has not yet been released, and as of 14th July 2022, it released the series season one trailer. The show season one has been filming since way back in 2021, and now that the series is released, we will not have to wait for too long before we get a new teaser for season two. Kleo Season One managed to collect great reviews and ratings. On IMDb, it has 7.5/10; on the Rotten Tomatoes website, it scored 92% on the Tomatometer and a 63% audience score. And regarding reviews, it has managed to create a show with remarkable characters, with full creative scripts and good comedy elements. This action crime drama series is a watchable binge-show; now waiting for the second season to binge-watch.
