The upcoming series is produced by the GBH Kids and the Pipeline studios to teach young children the importance of decision-making and intuitive thinking. Sara Dewitt, PBS kid’s vice President expressed that the upcoming series will teach Computational thinking to young kids and that they are more than excited to share the upcoming show with the world. The series will be set in the Treeborhood, an environment comprising secret passages, rope swings, and animals, including birds, marsupials, reptiles, and rodents. The upcoming series has been slated for February 2023 release date and will be available on PBS Kids. As announced, each show episode will include an 11-minute story and a 90-second musical. Each episode will highlight the decisions and the abilities the Wombat kids will utilize to solve their neighborhood problems. The upcoming series revolves around three wombat siblings; Malik, Zadie, and Zeke. Pumped up with energy, the three are always looking for adventures to invest their time. The three look for some interesting yet mind-piquing problems in the Treeborhood neighborhood that they can solve. The three have different values that make them special. Malik is thoughtful and is, most of the time, stuck in his head. On the other hand, Zadie is a fast thinker and always in the mood for an adventure, while Zeke, the brother, likes to brainstorm and comes up with accurately insane ideas.

Rain Janjua will be featured in the series as Zeke. The child actor is known for other projects, including Chucky, and in the upcoming series, he will play one of the siblings. He will be casting alongside Swami Nathan and Ian Ho, who will play Zadie and Malik, respectively. Mia has featured in other shows, including Doomed to Dance and The Ghost That Had to Go. A trailer for the Wombats series is yet to be released, and currently, we do not know how soon you should expect the kid series trailer.
