After its third season, Adult Swim has cancelled “Tuca & Bertie.” The adult cartoon’s creator, Lisa Hanawalt, tweeted about the cancellation on Wednesday.

“Tuca & Bertie” debuted on Netflix for its first season before being saved for a second and third seasons by Adult Swim after Netflix canceled the show. The adult animated series is based in the fantastical city of Bird Town and follows the lives of best friends Tuca and Bertie.
In its most recent third season, “Tuca & Bertie” tackled topics like menstrual and reproductive health in addition to mental health, sexual violence, toxic masculinity in the workplace, and other difficult topics.

The show wouldn’t be complete without Tiffany Haddish (Solar Opposites Season 3) as Tuca and Ali Wong as Bertie! Fans expect the two cast members to reprise their characters!
