This Way Up Season 3 Plot: What should we expect?
Season one introduced us to Aina, a young Irish English language instructor struggling to get her life back on pursuing after suffering a major mental breakdown resulting from a tragic relationship. When season one ended, Aine had yet to confront her love for her employer Richard, but Shona had just enjoyed an unexpected kiss with her business partner after a night of drinking.
Despite Shona’s knowledge, Aine and Richard ultimately expressed their emotions for one another in Season 2. Moreover, Shona’s connection with Vish and her conflicting sentiments have been necessary to her story throughout season two. In addition, Shona’s mistakenly leaving a message for the incorrect person had to happen at some time, and it did.
So, expectedly Season 3 will focus on the implications of this message, which disclosed her infidelity. Tom’s death exacerbates Aina’s collapse. Moreover, season 2 of This Way Up left the two sisters at a fork in the road, and season 3 will see them try to navigate their way through it.
