The chances of this happening in real life may be slim, which is why Netflix is coming to your rescue.
Their upcoming show, The Perfect Couple, is a drama series that explores all of the wrongs that could happen on your wedding date. The series is based on one of the bestselling novels of all time, and here is everything we know about the upcoming show.
The Perfect Couple Season 1 Release Date: When will it air?
Unfortunately, we have yet to determine how soon The Perfect Couple will be premiering on Netflix, but we know it will not be coming out anytime soon. The series announcement came in this year, and, likely, the show is still in its early development stages. Filming will most probably start next year, and the chances of the series debuting is either before 2023 comes to an end or in early 2024.
The Perfect Couple Season 1 Plot: What can we expect?
The series plot is based on the bestselling novel by Elin Hildebrand, and it follows the small town of Nan Tucket and its adventures in the summers. It is not rare to see a bride sprinting down the alleys or celebrating and showing their love out on the streets. Mostly, the parents are as rich as they get, and the brides who walk down the streets are as magnificent as the glowing sunsets.
One fine morning, a couple from affluent families have their wedding starting in less than hours, but before the two ties the knot, a body is found in the Nantucket harbor. Since the wedding and the crime scenes share almost the same venue, all the wedding guests are taken in to be questioned. Now they must remember the wedding not for its magnificence but for the horror and panic.
The Perfect Couple Season 1 Cast: Who will be in?
Unfortunately, as of now, no cast members have been associated with the show, and we are still determining how soon the cast announcement will start trickling in. The show is still in its early stages; therefore, it may take time before the casting announcement is made, and you will need to be more patient. Jenna Lamia will, however, be acting as both the series showrunner and executive producer. She is known for working on other projects, including the Good Girls, and Resident Alien, among many others.

Unfortunately, we have yet to determine just how soon the Perfect Date series will be released, but we are sure it will not be anytime soon. As of now, the series is still in its pre-production stage, and high chance is that filming might start next year. If filming starts next year, the earliest you should expect the series trailer to be released is next year or early 2023.
