Teoscar Hernandez Career:
In February 2011, Teoscar signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent. Further, he made his professional debut for the Dominican Summer League Astros that season. In 2012, he played with the Class-A Lexington Legends (South Atlantic League) and the Rookie-level Gulf Coast Astros. Teoscar appeared in 59 games and recorded a .243 batting average, 23 runs batted in (RBI), 5 home runs, and 11 stolen bases. During the 2013 season, he played with the Class-A Quad City River Bandits and scored hits .271 with 13 home runs, 24 stolen bases, and 55 RBI. Later, during the offseason, he appeared in 23 games for the Toros del Este (LIDOM).
Teoscar started the 2014 season with the Lancaster JetHawks (Advanced-A California League) and was upgraded to the Corpus Christi Hooks (Double-A Texas League) during the season. In 119 games, he hit .292 with 21 home runs, 33 stolen bases, and 85 RBI.
