The show’s first season featured Dominique Fishback as Dre, the series protagonist with obsession issues and a serial killer. She is obsessed with a famous pop star, which leads her down a dark road. Cloe Bailley stars as Marissa, Dre’s sister, Nirine Brown as Ni’Jah, and the pop star Karen Rodriguez as Erica. We have yet to receive the second season cast lineup, but Dre will probably be reprising her role.
Swarm Season 2 Plot: What will Happen?
The first season of the Swarm series she has ended with Dre meeting her idol, Ni’Jah. She only got to meet her idol after she had crashed her performance on stage, and she was not disappointed in seeing the personality she had been obsessed over. Luckily, she was not asked to leave the stage but was invited by her crush to sing a song. With the two getting snuggly, is there a happy ending? The second season could take a different trajectory and focus on Dre and the 11 people murdered. With Detective Loretta on her trail, she may end up behind bars in the upcoming season. Ni’Jah could also end up knowing the truth about Dre.
Season 1 Review:
Decider calls that you stream the series as Fishback’s character improves as the series progresses. She becomes more experienced as a serial killer, and apart from the exemplary performance, the show is well shot. The show also has a 7.7/10 rating on IMDb, which is good enough for binging.
Swarm Season 2 Trailer: When can we watch it?
A trailer for the second season has not been released, and we have yet to determine how soon it will be available. The series is yet to be renewed for the second season, but if it does get renewed, then the trailer may be out by 2024.
