Even though her prayer comes through, she is appalled as the two have different beliefs and are at loggerheads.
Gayle is a woman of Color like Isabel, but Gayle is an arch-conservative who differs politically and personally from Isabel. But like it is said, friendships begin in the weirdest ways, and could this be one of the ways? Only time is going to tell.
