The series is based on the unfinished manuscript by the late Jane Austen, who was renowned for her writing legacy. The production house of Sanditon, Red Planet Pictures, will become soon its second sequel on the original platform of ITV. This eight-part period drama got rated 7.8/10 on IMDb and 94% average audience score by Rotten Tomatoes.

The whole narrative goes around the romantic built up relationship of Charlotte Heywood and Sidney Parker. However, we got a heartbreaking ending of the season first as the Parker family conspired for Sidney to leave Charlotte, and the story ended.
